The clocks have sprung forward, the flowers are in bloom, and we all managed to survive April Fool's day which means that Q1 of 2025 is well and truly over. As we trasition into the next quarter of the year, the team at Mobius' took the time to reflect back on some of their highlights from the first three months of the year and what we're most looking forward to in the months to come.

I loved working with Bodyscramble on their run of As Long As The Stars Last at The Golden Goose Theatre - as a resident of Camberwell I enjoyed spotting posters around my stomping ground. Bodyscramble provided us with some of the most beautiful trailers I’ve seen in a while along with some gorgeous artwork. This was extra special as company director Sean Croft used to be on the Mobius street team in days of yore! Excited to see what Bodyscramble do next.

I absolutely adored the 80s Photography Exhibition at the Tate - one of the most full and varied exhibitions I’ve seen in a while. It was full of a decade of history captured through incredible images. Wildlife Photographer Of The Year was also great fun as always. Both exhibitions are on for another few weeks and I’m really considering a second visit…
One thing you're looking forward to in the next quarter
As I’m also a photojournalist, I’m so excited for the next quarter. First up, is World Press Photo Awards - I was bowled over by the 2025 shortlist and am buzzing for the London exhibition opening from May. Sony World Photography Awards Exhibition returns in April and my personal favourite Peckham 24 is back in May with The Other Book Fair.

Reconnecting with a former acting partner to discover she's now a successful producer with an amazing show (that we are now working on!): Thanks for Having Me, previously at King's Head Theatre and upcoming at Riverside Studios.

Performing at Genesis Poetry Slam — I went in Feb and March and was blown away both times by the standard of the work and what you can achieve with stripped-back words and performance. Incredibly fun and inspiring — I would recommend to anyone!

Looking forward to an R&D sharing of a new play I'm working on at Omnibus Theatre, and the London transfer of my 2024 Edinburgh show, Hamstrung — Yorick is long due a revival! Also excited for Ghosts at Lyric Hammersmith and the West End transfer of Giant.

I really enjoyed working with OperaUpClose again on their Riders to the Sea tour at the start of the year. As I have a background in music I'm always excited to see people recreating the classics in genuinely new and refreshing ways that open the genre out to more people and I really think the OperaUpClose team are pushing this.

Loved my first trip to Project House in Leeds (a new venue created by the people behind Belgrave Music Hall, Brudenell Social Club, Super Friendz and Welcome Skate Store so it's got a pretty exciting reputation already) to see The Olllam. Amazing gig and one of the chillest, friendliest audiences I've been in in a while!
One Thing I'm Looking Forward to Next Quarter
Like George I'm also really looking forward to seeing the West End transfer of Giant as well as going to see Mobius fav Josh Glanc on his UK tour.

My professional highlight of the quarter was definitely heading to New York at the beginning of February as part of my PR work with Xhloe and Natasha on their Off-Broadway debut of Fringe First winning A Letter To Lyndon B.Johnson Or God: Whoever Reads This First. I spent a fantastic few days meeting with various people in the industry and learning more about the cultural landscape. Petition to get the Drama Book Shop in London please?

After missing every opportunity to see one of my favourite bands locally as they kept touring on my press nights (how rude), I finally managed to see Everything Everything at the Komedia in my hometown of Bath. Worth the wait I can assure you!
One Thing I'm Looking Forward to Next Quarter
I’ll be heading to Paris in late May and will finally be seeing what all the fuss is about at Moulin Rouge in the heart of Montmartre. I can-can’t wait!

I’ve loved working on the campaign for Double Act at Southwark Playhouse over the past few months and seeing what creative videos and promotional content the team involved have created!

I really loved seeing COLDPLAY: A Film For The Future at Lightroom in February. It’s such a unique space and was such a great way to experience the album from start to finish, which I hadn’t heard before.
One Thing I’m Looking Forward to Next Quarter
Watching A Midsummer Night’s Dream at the Bridge Theatre! I missed the show when it was first on in 2019 and it’s been my biggest theatrical regret ever since. I’m so excited to finally see it when it opens again in June!

I’ve loved working on the campaigns for Relish Theatre’s Regeneration Season and really enjoyed putting together a content shoot with Mean Girls’ Danny Franzese, Scarlett Harlett and Crayola - it was our Drag Race makeover dreams come to life!

The phenomenal release of Suzanne Collins’ second prequel to The Hunger Games trilogy, Sunrise On The Reaping. After a four year wait and a lot of anticipation, I devoured this book in a matter of days as a true homage to my high school self. 2025 is the year of The Hunger Games renaissance and I couldn’t be more all for it.
One Thing I’m Looking Forward to Next Quarter
Three of my favourite indie folk artists, Jensen McRea, Trousdale and I’m With Her will be releasing new albums in April and May. They are all beautiful soulful singers and my spring is sure to be well soundtracked!

I love working with The Thelmas and got to work on two of their shows at the beginning of the year. It’s always good to know that you’re reaching a core audience, so I was particularly delighted to land coverage with a variety of Asian diaspora publications for Santi and Naz.

Is there anything more cultural than French Food? I’ve just got back from a few days in Marseille where I had a proper bouillabaisse for the first time. Afterwards, enough of me was fish that I was technically a mermaid.
One Thing I’m Looking Forward to Next Quarter
I’m going to Soho Theatre Walthamstow for the first time in May to see Mark Watson. I’m always seeing him (do cool stuff). #IfYouKnowYouKnow

So as to remain impartial in my love for both the Marketing and Press department, I have to pick two highlights. Firstly, I both started and completed the AMA’s Essentials of Marketing where I got to do my favourite thing - learning! I also loved meeting so many other lovely arts marketers. Secondly, I absolutely loved working on Ad Infinitum’s regional tour of Last Rites. I have always loved the company’s work but I was truly blown away by the artistry and phenomenal performance when I got to see it at the Oxford press night in January.

After sharing with the world how much of a nerd I am in my D&D blog post, I very aptly went to see The Habits at Hampstead Theatre. This play filled my heart with so much joy, what a delight it was to see people connecting over the magic of storytelling!
One thing you're looking forward to in the next quarter
I will be donning my best frock and making my way to a nearby cinema to watch the 20th anniversary re-release of Pride and Prejudice (2005).

I attended a talk at the Music and Drama Education Expo at the Business Design Centre in Islington in January from the team behind the Arts and Minds campaign, which is attempting to change the curriculum to include more creative subjects. There’s so much data around the decline in those subjects in schools and it was fascinating (and really quite sad) to hear teachers talk about the challenges they are up against. I think creative subjects are vital for many reasons including building confidence and it always seems to be forgotten that it is a viable career option as the sector makes this country a lot of money. I really hope the change they’re pushing for happens

I really enjoyed The Women of Llanrumney at Stratford East. I’m Welsh so I'm always keen to see anything that’s come out of Wales (the show opened at the Sherman Theatre in Cardiff last year) and I thought the writing was incredible, particularly for a debut play. The acting is also amazing, get your tickets before it closes next month!

I’m super excited to see Retrograde next month, Ryan Calais Cameron is one of the best writers in the country for my money.
