Mobius' Q3 2025 Highlights

02.10.25

It feels like a million years ago since summer but in fact it's just a few short months. Now we're very much in the Autumn (you can tell by the number of 'spooktacular' emails you're receiving at the minute), the Mobius team look back at some of their highlights from the last three months and what we're looking forward to before the end of the year.

You can also check out some of our coverage highlights here.

Lorn:

Professional Highlight

Working with the wonderful teams at Camden Fringe as well as Lambeth Fringe and Bloomsbury Festival on their PR campaigns. I love fringe theatre and London festivals, especially the work these festivals do to platform early career and grass roots artists.

Personal Cultural Highlight

As a major dark academia fantasy fan and lover of R.F. Kuang, the release of Katabasis was a day I was counting down to and it did not disappoint! I don’t know if we’re allowed to give six star ratings but if any book was to get this from me it would be this one. Magical, perspective altering, heartbreaking and full of incredible mythology and philosophy references to nerd out with.

One Thing I'm Looking Forward to Next Quarter

As the nights get darker I am highly anticipating the beginning of spooky season for all things vampires. As well as a lot of rewatching Twilight and vintage horror movies, I’m really looking forward to working with Park Theatre on Dracapella, an a cappella, comedy retelling of Dracula with an absolutely stellar cast!

It has to be Edinburgh Fringe ‘25, of course! Another incredible year working alongside my colleagues and collaborating with some of the most talented artists in the industry. The atmosphere at Fringe is always so infectious, and I thoroughly enjoyed networking throughout the month with both familiar and new industry figures. A particular highlight was our cover feature with Xhloe and Natasha for The List’s Festival Preview Edition, along with our fantastic broadcast coverage. And yes—I walked 404,187 steps (I counted!).

Personal Cultural Highlight

It may feel like cheating to pick Fringe again, but I have to highlight Summerhall Arts’ Surgeries, an artist development initiative running during the festival. The programme offers artists with unfinished work a 10-minute slot to showcase their ideas to a constructive audience, creating a space for vibrant, groundbreaking new work. I attended both sessions this year and can’t wait to see how the showcased projects develop. Just some of the artists I had the pleasure of watching include Liv Ello, Kristen Winters, and Euan Munro, alongside new co-writing from a previous client, Peter McCormick.

One Thing I'm Looking Forward to Next Quarter

I’m very much looking forward to leading PR campaigns for our fantastic festive programme this winter season. We’ve got such an exciting range, from an adaptation of the classic Snow Queen at the Albany, to the Old Fire Station’s world premiere of Karim Khan’s Before the Millennium, and a much-anticipated sequel to the beloved Snow Mouse at the Egg at Theatre Royal Bath.

George:

Professional Highlight

Breaking the West End with big campaigns for StereophonicMJ The Musical and The Devil Wears Prada, including some fabulous fan distribution at Mighty Hoopla, Brighton Pride and London Fashion Week!

Personal Cultural Highlight

Rambert/La Horde’s takeover of the whole of the Southbank Centre, We Should Have Never Walked on the Moon. Some of the most daring choreography I’ve ever witnessed and such an innovative way of engaging with live performance!

One Thing I'm Looking Forward to Next Quarter

Continuing to grow the team and running another busy Christmas season!

Professional Highlight

I’ve really enjoyed working with Kapitol on the National Brass Band Championships taking place at the Royal Albert Hall next month. It’s such a fantastic and often misrepresented art form and it’s been inspiring to work with such passionate people to fully show off the communities behind brass band music and also the world class standard of musicians who feature at the championships each year.

Personal Cultural Highlight

I have to be honest, John Robins and Ellis James’ tour date in Leeds really did feel significant...

One Thing I'm Looking Forward to Next Quarter

I really love Christmas, but only a normal amount and by the time we get to December I’m a bit done with jingle bells and snow in every piece of show artwork around. So I’m really looking forward to The Highgate Vampire by Bag of Beard Theatre at Omnibus - a really funny show about a pretty dark true story.

Obviously the Edinburgh Fringe took up a large portion of the last few months for me and whilst all of it felt like a highlight, the best part may have been the opportunity to reconnect with Northern Ireland’s cultural scene. As someone who lived there for 13 years of my life, I loved getting to attend the Northern Ireland Spotlight showcase, to celebrate all the incredible art coming out of the beautiful country and connect with other artists. One of my favourite shows from the festival overall was Shame Show from SkelpieLimmer and another Northern Irish show that I sadly missed, Consumed from Plaines Plough, is coming to Park Theatre so the joy continues!

Personal Cultural Highlight

One thing that is evident about me is that I am a nerd and I recently got to reignite my nerdiness for ancient history when visiting the FREE London Mithraeum and London’s Roman amphitheatre (I know I’m in for a good time when a historical experience comes with the warning of mist and chanting in Latin.). On this trip I was also reunited with my favourite painting, Clytemenestra by John Collier, which I lovingly stared at for at least 20 minutes - highly recommended.

One Thing I'm Looking Forward to Next Quarter

I’m fulfilling a life-long dream and heading to Norway where I’m hoping to just bask in the beauty of nature, go to a few museums, swim in a fjord, eat some food and soak up all the Norwegian culture.

Professional Highlight

It’s been great to mesh together both of my jobs (marketing and photojournalism) in the campaigns for Lambeth Fringe and National Brass Band Championships. Interviewing and photographing inspiring figures for our Humans Of Lambeth series has been an absolute joy, as well as learning about the wonderful world of Brass Bands in our Banding Together series.

Personal Cultural Highlight

The Fringe FOMO was very real this year, so I was thrilled to catch Sam Nicoresti at Soho Theatre for her fabulous show Baby Doomer - an absolute hoot from start to finish! After a quiet summer in London, September was a great month for jetsetting, (as well as eating, drinking and being merry…) Two personal highlights included probably the best dinner I’ll ever eat at Dirty Candy in New York City and a lovely day of wine tasting at the beautiful Château de Monbazillac in the Dordogne.

One Thing I'm Looking Forward to Next Quarter

Heading into the final quarter of 2025, there’s a lot to look forward to. As a Lambeth resident, I’m very excited for the next three weeks of the Lambeth Fringe - the programme is exciting, varied and right on my doorstep! I’m also hugely looking forward to continuing my year of exciting trips by going to Cape Town in December where I’m going to complete my lifelong dream of meeting a penguin.

Another year and another Edinburgh Fringe in the bag. This was my third time working at the festival and though the days can be long and we’re away from home for the month, it’s such an incredible thing to say you’ve worked there and lived in the city for that month. We took more shows this year including more international artists which we’re hoping to do again next year. Our Fringe press office is always open so if you’re on the look out for support for next year, get in touch

Personal Cultural Highlight

A couple of Sundays ago I made my way over to London Bridge for the new Gianni Versace exhibition at the Arches. It’s full of items from his various collections including iconic looks worn by Princess Diana, Kate Moss, Elton John and more and also tells the story of his life. It really was a journey back in time and an absolute feast for the eyes, such glamour and colour! The gift shop is also well worth a look around. I picked up a George Michael coaster for just £8 which is probably my purchase of the year, they just don’t make them like George anymore.

One Thing I'm Looking Forward to Next Quarter

I’m very excited to see Punch next week at the Apollo Theatre which has transferred from the Young Vic (and the Nottingham Playhouse before that). I love how James Graham manages to take an important topic and make an entertaining piece of work, but one that also gets across a bigger message. And every Tuesday performance has a post show talk on a range of topics from masculinity to restorative justice.

Emma:

Professional Highlight

Working on international press always feels really exciting, so I was really pleased to have a BBC piece and a AP piece about The Flowers of Srebrenica opening in Sarajevo, with two Balkans correspondents seeing the show and interviewing creatives.

Personal Cultural Highlight

Got to be A Comedy About Spies, I’m an avid Mischief Theatre fan, it amazes me that they haven’t run out of ideas and it still feels fresh and hilarious every time.

One Thing I’m Looking Forward to Next Quarter

We’ve worked on A Festival of Korean Dance since it started, so really excited to be working with Sung Im Her again on her new show 1 Degree Celsius at the Southbank Centre.
