Mobius is a PR and marketing agency for the arts, based in London and working across the UK. Founded in 2003, we specialise in theatre, dance, circus, festivals and cultural projects of all kinds — from West End productions and major venues to first-time producers, Edinburgh Fringe debuts, and work made in communities far from the bright lights.
Mobius started with a simple question: why do so many brilliant shows fail to find their audience? Not because the work isn't good — but because nobody knows it exists. Our founder Dan Pursey started the agency to answer that question, one press release at a time. More than twenty years later, it's still what gets us out of bed. We believe that every act of communication — a review, a well-placed feature, a striking poster, a perfectly timed social post — is a small act of outreach. An attempt to connect. We offer PR, marketing, print distribution and influencer campaigns, working across the full marketing mix to give productions the best possible chance of reaching the people who'll love them. Our clients include long-term venue and festival partners, mid-tour companies who need to hit the ground running, and emerging artists taking their first work to the Fringe. We're proud of the breadth of what we cover — commercially driven West End campaigns, community arts projects, health and wellbeing programmes, international showcases — but our specialism has always been the performing arts, and that's where our deepest knowledge and our strongest contacts live.
