Mobius: New York and US theatre PR

Mobius is a London-based PR and marketing agency that works on both sides of the Atlantic — building UK audiences for American work, and following artists to New York. Whether you’re bringing a show to London or Edinburgh, or heading to Off-Broadway, get in touch!

Following artists across the pond

We’ve worked with New York companies Xhloe and Natasha and Recent Cutbacks in both Edinburgh and their home city, and we’re working with SoHo Playhouse on their first fully curated Fall season. American companies Dutch Kills Theater and Broken Box Mime brought Double Take to the Adelaide Fringe with us, and we’ve worked with US companies including The American Vicarious.

US work for UK audiences — and back again

The job cuts both ways: press and audience-building for American companies playing London, the Edinburgh Fringe or a UK tour, and helping shows carry momentum on to New York. We coordinate with partners in each city so a campaign travels with the show. It’s part of our wider international arts work.

PR, marketing and distribution — all in-house

Press, digital, social, design and print — all done by our own team. See more of who we’ve worked with on our past clients page.

New York and US PR — frequently asked questions

We’re a US company playing London or Edinburgh — can you run our press?

Yes — that’s a lot of what we do. Send us the dates and venue and we’ll take it from there.

Can you help us take a show to New York?

We follow our clients across the pond and work with local partners in NYC — most recently at SoHo Playhouse. Get in touch and we’ll talk it through.

If that sounds useful, get in touch — or browse our case studies.

How do you measure whether a campaign worked?

We measure against real box office data wherever the venue’s ticketing allows — tracking the lift in ticket sales around each activity, from press hits to flyering to digital bursts. That means we can show what actually moved tickets, rather than reporting coverage and impressions in isolation.

For Off-Broadway specifically, see our dedicated Off-Broadway PR and marketing page.
